Disneyland Resort Reopening April 30!

Over a year ago, Disneyland Resort closed its doors due to COVID-19. Now, the park will reopen with limited capacity on April 30th.

Guests will once again be able to experience their favorite attractions, food, characters and atmosphere that makes Disneyland the Happiest Place on Earth! Characters will emerge in all new ways and in unexpected places as they remain mindful of social distancing. Parades and nighttime spectaculars will return at a later date.

Attendance at Disneyland will be managed using a new theme park reservation system that will require all guests to obtain a theme park reservation before entrance. Both a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date will be required for all guests age 3 and up - exactly how Walt Disney World has implemented their reservation system. Theme park reservations will be limited and as of right now, only California residents will be able to visit.

In the days leading up to the public opening of Disneyland, cast members and members of the local community will be the first guests to walk into Disneyland after more than a year.

The Hotels of Disneyland Resort also plan to welcome guests once again, with a phased reopening. Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa plans to reopen on April 29th with limited capacity, Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will plan to reopen May 2nd, and Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel will reopen at a later date, to be announced.

With no surprise, operational changes will be in place at the theme parks and hotels to ensure the health and safety of guests, and to comply with guidance from health authorities.

Stay tuned for additional reopening details that will be coming soon!
