Disney MagicMobile Service will launch in phases starting later this year, allowing guests another way to access MagicBand features like theme park entry through the power of iPhone, Apple Watch and other smart devices.
Through the My Disney Experience App, guests will be able to create a Disney MagicMobile pass and add it to their smart device's digital wallet, and most features will be available simply by holding your smart device near an access point - just like you would with a MagicBand.
Guests will be able to choose between the new MagicMobile Service or MagicBands - As of January 1st, 2021, MagicBands are no longer complimentary with the purchase of a Magic Your Way Package, but you will still be able to purchase them at a discounted price. The existing digital room key feature will also still be available to use within the My Disney Experience App, and guests will still be able to pick up and use a Key to the World Card. MagicMobile Service and it's features will roll out on Apple devices first.
